Leadership Council of the Camera Club at Willow Valley

The Leadership Council is composed of the Executive Council and the Support Activity Group leaders.

Executive Council (elected Officers and Past Presidents)
The elected officers of the Club are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. They hold office for one year, from June 1 to May 31. An election is held each year to fill open or contested positions as well as to reelect officers running without opposition. Officers may serve a maximum of three consecutive terms.

President,  John Comey
Leads the Club, establishes and administers policies, and presides over meetings.

Vice President,  Tom Loane
Assumes the duties of the President as needed and serves as liaison with the SAG leaders.

Secretary,  Al Fulvio
Records the minutes of the Club’s business meetings including the meetings of the Executive Council and the Leadership Council.

Treasurer, Tom Gregory
Maintains the Club’s financial records and bank account, tracks expenses and income, assists with the annual audit.

Past Presidents: Tony Poulos, Phyllis Sanford, Bruce Mawson, Laurie Little
A “bridging” resource available for advice, council, and historical perspective upon request.

 

Support Activity Group Leaders (SAG Leaders)
The day-to-day activities of the club are carried out by various Support Activity Groups, SAGs. They focus on their assigned activity and are responsible to fulfill the needs of the activity consistent with plans and budgets previously approved.

Education, Tony Poulos
Plans speakers and programs for the Education Hour, workshops, and other instructional events.

Five Fine Fotos, Tony Poulos, acting
Supports all activities related to the Five Fine Fotos displayed at the Cultural Center.

Member Exhibits, John Lyons
Supports all activities related to member photo exhibits.

Membership Coordinator, Phyllis Sanford, acting
Assists new and prospective members. Provides Club related information and coordinates new member orientation sessions. Maintains database of member information. Generates member lists and mailing labels as required.

Photo Challenges, Tony Poulos
Supports all aspects of Photo Challenges such as themes, receiving photos, preparing slide shows, and Club meeting presentations.

Photo Services, Domenick Buttiglieri
Supports requests from Willow Valley and Club members for ongoing and one-time photo projects.

Photo Shoots, Jane Gardner
Facilitates all aspects of Photo Shoots such as themes, locations, and dates. Encourages and promotes member participation.

Roster, Tony Poulis, acting

Maintains the Club Membership Roster, The Location Roster, and the Gmail contacts list.

Social Coordinator, Carolyn Bausinger, Debbie Ferrone
Handles all aspects of special social events such as the Club Picnic and the September Gala.

Speakers,  open
Finds, invites, hosts, and promotes speakers for the Club meetings.

Special Projects,   open

Handles requests for special photography projects from WVC and
residents that are not considered routine photography services
provided by our Photo Services SAG.

Studio Manager, Tony Poulos, acting
Manages the Studio. Oversees the use of Club equipment.

Web Site, Al Fulvio
Maintains the Club website.
